Dedicating Our Babies

When each of our 2 biggest boys were just a few months old, their godparents, grandparents, & other family members joined us at our church to christen & dedicate them back to God. It is a tradition that we feel is very important in our family & take very seriously. Unfortunately, we didn't have Tanner dedicated when he was a baby, but knew we still wanted to. Since Kallie was born, we've been planning for the right time to have a dedication for both...tough to arrange with us living in Mobile, our church being in B'ham, & Tim having such a busy schedule. We finally got it scheduled - July was perfect since Tim would have some time off & we'd be in north Alabama for the 4th.

After a fun day of celebrating on Saturday, we headed to Birmingham on Sunday morning for church & the christening at CBF. With many of our family members there to support, we enjoyed an awesome service. It was so great to see our pastor & church friends that we've been missing so much. The praise & worship & sermon were incredible, as was the dedication portion of the service. Our pastor spoke beautiful words over our children & family & prayed for Tanner & Kallie as we dedicated them back to God...what a sweet moment.
