The NC State Game

Last Saturday, for the most part, was a fun day. We had a big game versus NC State & were expecting a sellout crowd & electric game atmosphere. We also had lots of family in town, including Tim's dad & his wife, Tim's sis & her hubby & daughter, & Tim's aunt, uncle, & cousin (who actually attends South). It was fun to spend the day with everyone & have them go to the game with us!

Early lunch at Cracker Barrel...glad Tim had a quick break & was able to join us for a bit!

Twins?!
Tanner had fun playing superheroes w/ Grandpa Benny
The 2 littles w/ Ms. Eliza
my three sons :)
There's most of our crew!
Kallie, along w/ Ms. Eliza & Aunt Tangela, was already pumped!
Taylor w/ a couple other coaches' kids...on devices of course!
Game time
Coach Kid Quadruplets!
(Can you guess one of the new items in the bookstore
this year? Hee hee!)

We got off to a fast start & scored first! It was great!! Things went downhill from there & NC State pulled away with a big victory. Win or lose, we are proud of & love our Jags! We look forward to traveling to Troy this weekend for our conference opener!! We're also grateful for the time we had with our family!

Baker Homecoming

Last week was Baker High School's homecoming & Timothy & his schoolmates had fun dressing up for the themed days & cheering their team on to victory Friday night! My oldest boy is by nature more calm, laidback, & less "attention seeking" than his 3 siblings, so he doesn't always get into dressing up. I think Timbo enjoyed tweaking his uniforms a little this week, though, & getting into some high school fun!!
Monday was "Blue & White Day"
Tuesday was "Senior Citizen Day"
Wednesday was "Animal Day"
Thursday was "Holiday Day"
(He didn't really get into that one, so he wore regular uniform)
Friday was "Hornets in America Day"
"Dress to Impress" was the theme for the game,
so he changed before getting dropped off at the game
Timothy cheered the team on in the "Hornet Hooligans" student section & was pumped as Baker (finally) rolled to victory against B.C. Rain, 28-9! Homecoming Funners!! Go Hornets!!

11 Months Old

Our baby girl was ELEVEN MONTHS OLD on Wednesday! So hard to believe that in less than a month, Kallie Larkin will be celebrating our first birthday....wasn't she just born?!
She's still growing at lightning speed...constantly on the move, standing up alone, getting into everything, & chattering, singing, & screaming (her newest feat) as loud as possible!
Occasionally, she even takes a nap...
Happy 11 Months to our sweet Kallie!

Community Leaders

Tanner & his kindergarten friends spent the first 3 weeks of school learning about community leaders. It was so cute to see him coming home day after day loaded with facts, books, completed activities & gear from the cool community helpers they had so much fun learning all about!

Officer Tanner
Doctor Tanner
Is this a patient?! Lol!
Fireman Tanner
Construction Worker Tanner
Good he had someone to use his tools on...
Farmer Tanner
Baker Tanner
The unit ended with a program at school...the kindergarten kids & teachers all dressed as community leaders & paraded in front of the school & real leaders from the community came & spoke about exactly what they do!

Tanner went dressed as a doctor :)
Quick mommy/daughter selfie before the program!
Here they come!
There's Dr. Tanner leading the line w/ his teacher,
Mrs. (Dr.) Burkett
Mrs. Gallop, the principal, along with
some "real" leaders from the community
Each kindergarten class had a turn to go up on the stage
& wave to the crowd
So cute!!
After the program in the gym, we headed back to the classroom for more pics & to hear from
2 of the community leaders invited by kids from the class
Look who just had to join the class...
