Spring Festival

We had our annual Spring Festival at Edgewood on Saturday!
It is our school's only fundraiser & is always
a HUGE blowout & good time!!
Some of us had to work booths & rides
Some of us got on EVERY ride . . .
. . . then got sick & had to go home early
Some of us were too cool to ride &
walked around w/ friends the entire time
Some of us immediately found the shade
Some of us played & played . . .
. . . & rested
All in all, we had a blast
What a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon!!

Relay for Life

Our school had a team that participated in Relay for Life on Friday.
There was a movie theme this year; there were several cute ones, like "101 Dalmatians", "The Cat in the Hat",  & "Charlie & the Chocolate Factory."
We decided to do "Pretty in Pink", complete with boas, necklaces, shades, & of course PINK!!
Homewood Park was full of people, food, entertainment, fund raising, & continuous walking.
Fun times & a worthy cause - what a great way to spend a Friday!!!
So glad someone brought cupcakes . . .

Over the weekend . . .

We played/watched/enjoyed some baseball

Hung out with NeNe & Dougie

Went to church & enjoyed service & visiting w/ friends

Attended a housewarming & played some more

We also did lots of eating, sleeping, reading, & more playing.
We can't get pics of it ALL, but trust me,
things NEVER stop around our house.
Always noisy, always going . . .
Just another weekend!

He Got Up!

"Where, O death, is your victory?  Where, O death, is your sting?"
The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.
But thanks be to God!
He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
I Corinthians 15:55-57

It's Resurrection Sunday!!
Our morning started with an awesome worship encounter at our church.
There was also a wonderful presentation by the boys & the rest of the youth group.
Our theme this year was "He Got Up!",
which was on display in our attire & in the messages of the day.
After service, time for some refreshments, cake, & goody bags!
Next we headed home to continue some fun Easter stuff
w/ the boys!
Do you think the boys have enough Easter baskets?
These are from Mom & Dad . . .
. . .& these came from MaMa & Papa G!
I foresee a long week of sugar overload!!
Easter Egg Hunt Time!!
NeNe helped me hide eggs,
then the boys were pumped to find them. :)
Thanks for your contribution, Dougie.
EGGcellent Egg Hunters!

Hope you enjoyed a wonderful
Resurrection Sunday & Happy Easter!
Not only did our Saviour get up, HE YET LIVES!!
