Of course we all wore our green, but my 2 smallest lucky charms had some extra fun added to their day...
Our neighborhood libraries have toddler storytimes weekly, so I decided to start taking Kallie so that she can enjoy 30 minutes of stories, songs, & movement/dance outside of our home on a regular basis. It's also a perfect opportunity for her to interact with children her age. So, part of our St. Pat's Day morning was spent at storytime. She was not her usual "show-offy" loud self; instead she just sat & kind of took everything in. I think she enjoyed it though (she's been singing the songs & doing the motions every since!) & will become more comfortable the more we go.
After the library storytime, we headed over to Tanner's school to join him for lunch. The school was a sea of green & the teachers &students looked quite festive. All during lunch I heard about the mischievous little leprechaun wreaking havoc in their classroom & throughout the building, the traps they had set, & all the fun they had been having. I absolutely LOVE Tanner's school & the way they get to celebrate all of these fun days as they learn!
During the afternoon, Tanner & his classmates enjoyed a snack that would just make you GREEN w/ envy! It included green cupcakes, green grapes, & a green sherbet & sprite drink. Yummy!
While Tanner continued to celebrate at school, Kallie & I headed home to rest.
Full, fun morning...LUCKY GIRL! LUCKY BOY!
Quiet, peaceful naptime...LUCKY MAMA!!
