Dr. Seuss Day

Last Wednesday was Dr. Seuss's birthday, which is also Read Across America Day. Hutchens students had spent the last few weeks reading lots of Dr. Seuss books, decorating the school, participating in Seuss related projects, & preparing for this celebration day. Tanner & his schoolmates were allowed to wear pajamas & wigs or hats. Tanner chose to don his minion pjs & Timothy's old yellow wig (remember our UAB days?!). I'm sure all of the kids were just as excited as Tanner when Wednesday rolled around...

Kallie & I were happy to join Tanner at his school that afternoon for the "Seussical Musical" complete with stories, dress up, & lots of songs! I was pumped to dig out one of my Seuss shirts & headband for the occasion!! Lol!

Kallie had a blast at the program. She sang, she bounced in her stroller, she put on lipgloss, & was happy to see her brother afterwards!
