Jaguar Graduation & Renovation

This past Saturday, South Alabama's fall graduation ceremony was held at the Mitchell Center. Our football team had several guys to graduate, including Tim's lone senior running back...who also happens to be Tanner's favorite Jag...Terrance Timmons!

We made him a little present -- I've taken LOTS of pics of him & the boys (especially Tanner) this season. We picked a few, made a photo collage, & framed it.
We also wrote notes inside a card for him. The messages from the boys were so incredibly sweet! They made my heart happy.
On Saturday afternoon, the six of us joined the huge crowd at the Mitch to watch the graduation ceremony. Tanner excitedly gave Terrance his present after it was over & I snapped a few pics.
Terrance loved his surprise. He said we were trying "to make him get emotional out there..."
Proud coach & player
After we left, we stopped by the football office to check out some of the new renovations! There are some really nice new (huge) pics on the walls.

This is a shot from our big win at Troy. If you look closely, you can spot me, the boys, & some of our family in the background!
There are also a couple great shots of running backs.
Here is Xavier Johnson.
And here is Terrance.
This is the player lounge. My husband has already discussed with me that this is a model for his future man cave...guess we better catch some TVs on sale & start collecting!

One little person definitely enjoyed the office tour...she loves practicing her new walking skills!
CONGRATS TO OUR JAG SENIORS!!!
Way to handle business on the field as well as the classroom!!
WE'RE SO PROUD OF YOU!!!
And we sure do love the football office updates...tres chic!

Kindergarten Christmas Program

Last Monday night, the kindergarten students at Hutchens presented the cutest Christmas Program! It was full of classic & "cutesy" holiday songs, as well as witty dialogue, presented by Tanner & his schoolmates.

For the past few weeks, we heard these songs constantly as Tanner sang in the car, in the bathtub, even from his bed at night...the big boys & I felt like we knew the words as well as the kindergarteners! Tanner was so excited when program night finally arrived...
Sadly, Tim was out of town recruiting, but my mom had stayed in town to see the show & joined us to support Tanner. I'm so thankful she was there to help wrangle a certain little wild woman (who was "singing" as loudly as the kindergarten) so I could snap pictures & video.
I have to mention that this little diva was VERY excited to see her big brother's program...AND walk around the school! She had a blast & everyone was tickled to see (& hear) her as she made her way around...
Look who else came...Terrance!!! Tanner was so pumped to see his favorite Jag! So sweet of him to come support my little dude!! :)
So proud of this guy! The kindergarten program was a big hit!! And we'll still be singing those songs well into the new year...

Last Game

So a week after Thanksgiving, on the 1st Saturday in December, the Jags returned to Ladd for the final game of the regular season versus Appalachian State. It was a big one...senior night & the chance to capture a 6th win & become bowl eligible.

We were happy to have my mom & the Perrys (Timothy's godparents) in town for the weekend & at the game with us.
I took lots of pics of pregame...yep, trying out my new camera & lenses!
One of our graduating seniors is Terrance Timmons -- Tanner's favorite Jaguar & Tim's only senior runningback. He's a great guy, team leader, & has taken up lots of time with my crew.
Jag Seniors
App State is one of our conference leaders & we knew it'd be a tough game. The Jags gave an incredibly valiant effort, but came up just short, losing 34-27. This ended our hopes of a bowl game & our coaches, players & staff families took it pretty hard. There were lots of tears after the game. No matter how it ended, I'm proud of our team. They battled through many adversities & injuries, but gave it their all week after week. I'm sad they won't have the opportunity to play postseason, but there were many bright spots this season & WE LOVE OUR JAGS!!!

A few pics of my crew on the field after the game...one of their favorite places to be!

We Have a Walker!

My sweet girl continues to grow so fast!!

She's babbling non-stop & can say many words. She's eating more & more (although that hasn't curbed her affinity for nursing). She's mastered speed crawling & cruising.

And, Kallie's latest feat...WALKING!! She started with a few tentative steps here & there, but within a couple weeks, she was practically running (wonder if it's because she's either trying to keep up with or get away from her big brothers!). So funny watching this girl get around...those feet & legs are just like her Daddy & brothers & she moves JUST LIKE them...
