6 Months Old

It's so hard to believe,
but my sweet baby girl is SIX MONTHS OLD!!!

Where has the time gone?!
Kallie has been part of our Bunch for a half a year already!

Kallie Larkin hit the 6 month mark on April 23!

Can you tell this child is a little ham?

And that her momma loves taking pics of her?!

The big 6 month checkup was the following day...

she had a full belly &

was fast asleep when we arrived at the doc's office 

& then popped up happy as always!

She loved sitting on the exam table & playing with the paper while we waited. Dr. Weinacker said she can always tell the age of the patient by the condition of the paper!

Kallie's checkup went well --

she was 17 lbs 10 oz (80th percentile) & 26 1/2 in long (75th) & took her shots like a champ. She's still exclusively breastfeeding, while also enjoying baby cereal, fruits, & veggies & water in a sippy cup. Her diet can now be expanded to baby meats, soft table foods, & juice. She's very strong, rolling over one way, & looks about ready to rock on all fours. We're still having sleeping probs - she gets up 2 or 3 times every night...exhausting!! She'll head back to the doc in July for a 9 month checkup.

 

Post exam & shots...dressed & already happy again!
