This past weekend was the 2nd game for most college football programs, but it was the 1st for the Jags . . . & I'm happy to report that we went on the road & beat Kent State 23-13!! Woo Hoo!!
The weekend prior was an off week for us.
Although we were a little bummed that we weren't getting things started like the rest of the college football world, the best part of not having a game was extra time with our favorite coach.
He worked Friday morning, then had the rest of the day off.
He was able to get over to Tanner's school & pick him up, which absolutely made Tanner's day!
Then we got a couple projects done at home, including putting the finishing touches on Kallie's stroller & making sure we could work the base/carseat/stroller.
Next, the 3 of us headed to carpool heaven (NOT!) to pick up the big boys. Tim didn't enjoy the joys of carpool AT ALL. Lucky him...he doesn't have to do it everyday.
We decided to leave the schools & head straight to one of our fave spots for dinner - Chipotle! Yum!!!
After a couple other stops, we headed home to watch some football...plus some of us needed a nap.
The 5 of us spent all day Saturday eating & watching football.
It was pretty nice because we know these extra moments with Tim will be few & far between until the season & recruiting end.
I can't think of a better way to spend a weekend!!

We got 2 deliveries...
One was my "Posh Pusher" -- this was a present from 2 school friends & it's a chic labor gown for the hospital
The other was a package of pacifiers for Kallie Larkin!
Her fabulous aunts, NeNe & TeTe Coco, sent the cutest pacis with her name or initials on them. Total surprise & totally cute!!
Love them!!
