Today was teachers' first official day back at school! Every employee in our school system started the morning at Homewood High School with a welcome back message from our superintendent, along with words from some other speakers. We then headed back to individual schools to work in our rooms & have lunch. From 2-4, students were able to come to "Meet the Teacher" - meet their new teachers, see their classrooms, fill in info sheets, bring supplies, etc. It's always an exciting time, for the kids & teachers!! Tomorrow we have a work day, complete with an extra lengthy faculty meeting & PTO luncheon. Students start on Wednesday.
