Blazer Outing

The UAB Football Staff and their families got together for some good eats, cool treats, & partying at the pool!! This is our traditional gathering - as we gear up for the season, it's nice to have some time to visit, catch up, laugh, play, and eat.

Our head coach, Neil Callaway & his wonderful wife Karen graciously hosted the whole crew out at Old Overton Club at Liberty Park. The kids & their daddies had plenty of fun splashing around in the pool. This year we were even treated to a pool race by two of our coaches! It started off with 2 HUGE BELLY FLOPS, followed by a tight race that ended with a surprisingly close finish. :)

We ate some TASTY food straight from the grill, topped off by dessert, then it was time to jump back in the pool. It was a blazingly delightful night!!
