Talented

Edgewood's 18th annual talent show was Friday night at Homewood High School. 
It is always a big deal for our school and community. 
There are many acts in the show and the place is always packed.  This year was no different! 
After 2 acts & an intermission, the show always ends with the 5th grade finale. 
My Timbo, along with the rest of the 5th grade, "party rocked" things in a major way!!

Partying Like Kings

Taylor's basketball team, the Kings, played their last game this past weekend. 
On Tuesday night, the players, coaches, & families met up at New York Pizza in Homewood to end the season with a team party. 
We enjoyed pizza, cookie cake, & awards, but the players liked the arcade the best!
Taylor's coaches told him they fully expect to see him playing on T.V. one day. 
He made the 7/8 year old All-Star Team & will play in the tournament the last weekend in February.
He also received the Conduct Award - best behavior/listener/rule follower in practice & games.
His momma must be doing something right! Ha!! :)
Fun season!! Way to go, Kings!!!

BIG 11

11 years ago today I became a Mommy!!!
We welcomed one of the sweetest boys I know to the world.
And my life has not been the same since!

Timothy's birthday is today, but we celebrated his BIG 11 with BIG partying ALL weekend!!!
On Friday, he had 5 friends come home from school with him.
They had pizza & drinks, then went to the movie theater to see "Puss in Boots" (it was hilarious!).
Then we all came back to the house for cake, ice cream, presents, & playing!
Timothy was pumped to get some cool stuff - gift cards galore & Bama & Samford gear. :)

On Saturday, the big boys had basketball tournament games early (8 a.m. & 11 a.m.) and late afternoon (2 p.m.), so between games we had a family birthday lunch at Red Lobster.  Timothy was excited to have his godparents, MaMa, Tee Tee, & Mama D there too!  The food was delish!! And Timothy was pumped to open more presents - more gift cards, Samford shirts & backpack, & a Kindle & case. :)

On Sunday, he had b'day breakfast with his dad & brother, & more celebrating with his family & friends at church.  We headed to a Super Bowl party Sunday evening & I think Timbo secretly pretended this party was for his birthday too! Ha!! :)
