During the week, along with some other coaches' families, we made posters to be put up in the football building for the players. We had fun with this little project & my boys were so pumped to send their special signs for the guys.

Tanner had a math test at school on Friday. His teacher sent me this shot of what he was writing on the back...his score prediction for the game! Guess you can tell what's usually on this coach's kid's mind!! :)
Thankfully, I didn't have to drive the 3 hours to Troy on Saturday morning. My hubby got us seats on the cheerleader bus! It was nice to just relax & ride. And my guys love a road/bus trip. It was Kallie's first & she was fascinated as well. She looked out the window, "talked" to the people in the other seats, nursed, snacked, napped, was dressed, & ready to roll by the time we arrived in Troy. Before the game, we saw some B'ham friends - we walked right into Tanner's old preschool director & one of the assistant teachers (her granddaughter)! It was great seeing them.
We also saw the team arrive & were able to visit with Tim for a bit. He was as excited to see the kids as they were to see him!
We also had several family members (my mom, aunt Carolyn, sis Kosh, cousin Andrea) & one of my best friends, Kristy (we went to college together) meet us at the game. It was fun tailgating (we had some delicious BBQ at the South alumni tent!) & cheering on the Jags w/ our real family & "football" family!! It was such an incredibly fun night!
That face...

(we ALWAYS have a great time together; wish we could do it more!!)
Tanner LOVES our head coach's wife, Elise. If she's around, he's right with her. She adores him as well. He calls her "Ms. Berlise" which cracks us all up! She loves it!! :)
So even though I pumped & made sure Kallie had some milk in a cup, she wouldn't drink it & eventually wanted to nurse. This is me trying to discreetly nurse her..
...& this is after she bit me! That one tooth is powerful!!
(Thanks to Kristy for these wonderful shots & to Andrea for finding this so funny.)
It was hard to nurse & see the football action, so she watched some more of the game & ate fries, then dozed off. Yes, my child slept sucking a French fry instead of a paci! Lol!!
This was a funny moment during the game...Kosh & Tanner entertaining the crowd w/ the whip nae nae!!!
And at the end, we were victorious!!! Such a great ending to a great game & great night!!
(By the way, Tanner's prediction all week was Troy 16 Jags 20 -- he was very close!)
We won the battle for the belt & everyone went wild when they brought it out!
I love this shot - that's Coach Jones (our HC in the blue jacket) w/ his son Jake (red) as the band played the alma mater. What a moment. Hope my boys experience something like that with their daddy one day.
Speaking of Coach Bowens...there he is waving to us :)
Lots of hugs & posing w/ the belt!
Coach Jones w/ some linemen
our QB Cody
our kicker Aleem
The boys were excited to get down on the field then celebrate in the locker room w/ the team!
A Jag win, a Bama win, laughing & cheering w/ family & friends...perfect football Saturday
