Missed us?!!

Hey People!!!
I know, I know . . . the Bowens Bunch has been gone WAY too long!!

Things have been extra busy at our house . . .
*We moved!!! Yes, we finally moved out of our rental (the house we've been in for 6 years), & moved into our wonderful new (temporary) condo. This was a BIG, HUGE, TIME CONSUMING ordeal, but we got it done. We will continue to look for the right home (house) for our Bunch . . .

*The boys finished up a FABULOUS school year, are still knee deep in a great baseball season & already enjoying some fun summer sports camps.

*Tim had another busy spring of workouts, practice, & recruiting.  He's already had a few summer camps, but is finally gearing up for a much needed vacation, which starts next week!

*I got a new position at school! I will (sadly) no longer teach 2nd grade, but I (excitedly) move to a new position - Reading Specialist!! This position will give me the opportunity to work with all students K-5, teachers, reading data, reading intervention, & prepare me for an eventual move into administration.  This move means a new classroom - we had SO much stuff at home & I had SO much stuff in my classroom - PACKING & MOVING (TWICE IN SAME YEAR) IS NOT FUN.
I also spoke this spring at a high school baccalaureate service (ahh!!!).
And, I am currently completing my grad school residency (internship) at my school.  This is THE LAST activity for grad school & I will be DONE!!!

Whew . . . there will be many posts coming chronicling all of these activities, plus some other fun stuff going on, but I just wanted to give you a little update until then!

I will try very hard not to leave so long again . . . believe me, the emails, texts, & phone calls pushed me to get my rear back into gear!! Hee hee!
