4 Months Old

My girl was 4 months old last Monday! I can't believe how time is flying...my baby is getting too big too fast!!

This child's personality definitely shines through on her 4 month pics! Her faces just crack me up!!



All dressed up & ready for another trip to the doctor...

Her checkup went well. 

She was up to 14 lbs 4 oz & 24 3/4 in. long & hitting

and/or surpassing many 4 month milestones

(she's advanced like her mother).

Once again, Dr. Weinacker proclaimed her perfect!!

She even took those mean ole shots like a champ!

We continue to enjoy every moment with our

happy, healthy, growing girl!!

More Mardi Gras

We were so pumped from our first Mardi Gras parade, that we decided to head back out the following day - which just happened to be Fat Tuesday - for another, even bigger parade! It was a cold day, but we braved the blustery conditions & enjoyed watching a festive romp down Royal Avenue & collecting LOTS of fabulous loot!

First Mardi Gras

We've experienced so many new things since moving to Mobile...& we were anxiously anticipating one more - MARDI GRAS!!! Mobile is the birthplace of Mardi Gras (not New Orleans!) & this city becomes immersed in all things that lead to Fat Tuesday -- parades, balls, décor, cuisine. The kids even get an entire week out of school! It's like NOTHING I've ever seen!!

There's no way we could live in this port city without taking part in some of the festivities!
