& of course the Bulldogs had to end them in heart-stopping fashion!!
We played Chattanooga 2 weekends ago . . . it was Homecoming, they're at the top of the conference with us, they beat us last year, it was our 1st game back home in a month . . . everything making this one ripe for a big game!
Of course, in normal Bulldog fashion, this one went down to the wire.
We were tied at 14 at the end of regulation & headed into OT.
We had the ball 1st, couldn't score a TD, but successfully kicked a FG.
Chatt got the ball (as we held our breath), couldn't get into the endzone, & lined up to kick it.
The ball sailed into the air . . . & hit & bounced off one of the goalposts!!!

We played Elon last weekend . . . it was Senior Day, we had to win this game to share the SoCon Conf. Title & possibly get into the FCS playoffs . . . another one ripe for a big game!!
We didn't play as well as usual (fumbles, a safety, lots of frustrating plays), the refs were horrible, & Elon seemed to be playing better than they had all season!
Fast forward to the end of the game --> we're down by 5, 10 seconds left in the game, it's 4th & goal from the 12 . . . after 3 unsuccessful tries, we get a big catch in the corner of the endzone for a TD!
PANDEMONIUM!!! BULLDOGS WIN 33-32!!!

football games week after week!!!
