Busy Tanner

Tanner has been quite busy this month . . .

His schools' annual Turkey Dressing was earlier this month.

They get a blank turkey & must disguise it to save it from a Thanksgiving demise!

This is always a fun project & we're so appreciative to Amber for always letting her creative juices flow & crafting his design!!

Tanner decided to dress as a Ninja Turtle & take his TMNT book.

It's one of my faves!! :)

And, this guy just NEVER takes a day off from being C.U.T.E.!!

Or loving his daddy, mommy, & big brothers!!

Harvest Festival

This is a little late (only about a month!), but our church celebrated our annual Harvest Festival in October with lots of fun, food, games, crafts, & costumes!
I had the um, honor, of being the chairperson this year, so I put in lots of time organizing, shopping, making things, & working with my team.
I'm pretty proud of the way it turned out & I think everyone had a fun time!!

 . . . & our Thanksgiving was a little different this year.

Instead of going to North Alabama to be with

extended family like usual,

we stayed here in B'ham to be with our working coach!

It was different, but we still had a great meal.

And extra dessert to bring home.

And some nice, extra family time together.

Bulldog Watch Party

After a great win Saturday night, Samford won a share of the SoCon title!
However, we weren't sure about the postseason -- 2 teams are usually selected for the FCS playoffs from our conference, but 3 teams were vying for spots.
We found out late Saturday night that Furman received the automatic bid from our conf, so that meant Samford & Chattanooga would both be hoping to secure the other spot. . .

We (the team, coaches, families, AD, SID, etc)

gathered at the football complex Sunday morning

to watch the Selection Show. . . .

You cannot even imagine the excitement in the room!!

We play in the first round of the playoffs

Saturday night at 7 at Jacksonville State!!
