My 3 sons did a FABULOUS job during the 2nd quarter of school...& their FABULOUS straight A report cards were proof of that! Report cards came home on Monday & we were super proud of how hard the boys have worked & the great marks they received for academics & behavior.
As a reward, I decided to take them on a "Great Report Card Surprise Field Trip" on Friday after school!!
First, we stopped at Sonic during happy hour for fruit/Nerd slushies. I was happy to have this as part of the trip since Sonic & slushies are my fave!! (Wink, wink!)
I have the Sonic app & I'm on their text list, so I'm always getting coupons, freebies, & the latest deals! I also got a couple gift cards for Christmas. Did I mention that Sonic is totally my fave?!
Next, we went to Krispy Kreme for FREE doughnuts. They have a great incentive program. At the end of each quarter, students can bring in report cards & get a free doughnut (of their choice) for each A!! This is a popular program & the place was packed.The boys were thrilled to get their boxes of doughnuts; one of the nice young guys even gave me my doughnuts free. Score!
The place was PACKED!! I guess lots of kids were eager to redeem those good grades for doughnuts!
By the time we arrived back home, Daddy was back from his recruiting trip & we had a nice dinner & evening at home together. This was a great start to a long weekend (no school Monday!).
Proud of our smart guys & happy to celebrate their great work at school!
