Family Pics

Although I snap HUNDREDS of pictures of my Bunch weekly, we have not had PROFESSIONAL pictures taken since May 2004 - when we were just a family of 4 & Taylor was 4 months old! It's been 11 years & we've added 2 more...way past time to get new pics!! We also needed photos of our beautiful baby girl.

Some Mobile football friends told me about Maggie Tait. She's a 2nd grade teacher & an incredibly talented & popular photographer! We met up with her a few weeks ago for pictures...not only was she so sweet & easy to work with, she produced some beautiful images of our family.

I won't share them all, but here are several of the pictures from our shoot...

My boys look so handsome & my baby girl is absolutely breathtaking...do I sound like a proud momma?! I LOVE these pics & I'm thrilled we got to meet & work with Maggie! She's fabulous & my family is BEAUTIFUL!!!!

The Dynamic Duo

From the moment he found out he was gonna be a big brother, Tanner has LOVED his baby sister. He showers Kallie with more hugs, kisses, & attention than anybody! I love watching their sweet little relationship. He's so proud that he has a "girl baby" & adores her. She laughs, smiles, & babbles at him constantly.

Now don't get me wrong, all 4 of my children love each other & have the neatest relationships (I could actually do a post on each!), but with Tim at work & the big boys at school, I've had lots of extra time at home with the 2 babies. I just love watching them together.

Water for Life

Tanner's preschool took part in an interesting fundraising project that I failed to mention during the school year.  It was called "Water for Life" & really had an impact on Tanner. The kids watched a video & had a visit from a guy who talked to them about some tough circumstances in Africa. Tanner came home telling me ALL about what they learned - that many families don't have clean water & there aren't many wells available. His teacher sent home a water bottle & letter detailing the project.  Each child was supposed to drink the water, then collect change in the empty bottle & return it to school the next week. All of the money would go toward digging wells & providing clean water for those less fortunate families.

Tanner did his fundraising at our house - he went from bedroom to bedroom asking for change. He was so thrilled to take part in this project. We all gave him money to fill up his water bottle & he happily returned it to school the next week! For their hard work & awesome fundraising, students were given a sno-cone party!!

Good job by my little philanthropist!!

The Sucker

My grandmother loves sending my kids sweet treats - the bigger & more sugary, the better!  I always fuss about it, but they love it of course. A couple months ago, Tanner stumbled upon one of these treats - a giant green sucker. I cracked up watching him eat it while watching videos on the iPad; hog heaven for this little dude!

More Beach

We ventured back to one of our fave spots over Memorial Day Weekend - THE BEACH!! My 3 little fish had fun (as usual) playing in the sand, running up for snacks & drinks, & splashing around in the ocean & jumping the huge waves. This was Kallie's 2nd trip to the beach & she enjoyed getting her toes in the sand & lounging with her mama...I think my little sidekick will be a beach bum just like me!

First to Last

Woo hoo!! School's out!!!

The school year officially ended yesterday, capping off a successful year for my guys. All 3 had to start over in a new city at new schools without old friends. They also finished up preschool, elementary school, & middle school. To say they each did an incredible job would be a huge understatement. Tim & I are incredibly proud of our sons...who obviously take after their mother.
