Tanner's Last Day

Since 5 months old, Tanner has attended Little Angels Preschool at Homewood Cumberland Presbyterian Church.  He has absolutely loved his school, teachers, & friends the past 4 years. This past Thursday was his last day & he was given a fun party, complete with pizza, ice cream floats, & presents! I know everyone there will miss him as much as he'll miss them. By the time I got there, the party was over & some of his friends were gone, but I caught a few pics . . .

Another Late Update

Time for another prego update . . . and, I'm late again!
Blame it on my poor pregnancy brain. :)

I'm 17 weeks along & here are a few updates:
*I'm feeling MUCH better!!! I think the throwing up (knock on wood) has finally ended.
*I can eat more now! Woo hoo!! But, I still must watch what I eat so I don't trigger anything. Ground beef, sausage, eggs . . . still off limits.
*I must still have snacks/meals every couple hours or this child makes me pay for it!
*The tiredness & naps have not ended, but that could also have lots to do with my job, other 3 kids, & end of the year craziness going on . . .
*I'm into my 2nd trimester & anticipating the best part of pregnancy, while preparing myself for a long, hot, pregnant summer.  Oh gosh.
*BEST part of this update --> knowing that I'm carrying a precious baby GIRL!! :)

Goodbye Party

Two groups of my school friends, 2nd grade & the BTA, threw a goodbye party for me last Thursday. It was a laidback night with lots of food & drinks, hilarious games, & sweet, thoughtful presents & cards. 
I was happy to have one last night with some really good B'ham/Edgewood friends & touched at the way they showered me with love . . .

"It's so hard to say goodbye . . ."

But seriously,

it's very hard to leave such a wonderful group of friends.

They have been there for me without fail . . . when I needed a good laugh, a shoulder to cry on, or someone to share something confidential (or juicy) with . . . 

I love my girls & I'll miss them so much!!!

Seventh Grade Smartie

Timothy's honors program was last Thursday!
My mom & I went to support him (& bask in our proudness) as he received awards for honor roll, student of the month, being part of the Homewood Trendsetters, & participating in the Duke University TIP program.
